The easiest way to submit an incident is through the Work Shield online reporting portal. To access the portal, visit workshieldportal.com.

If you are visiting the portal for the first time, click “Filer Registration” to create a login. Once your account is created, you can log in and submit your incident report.

If you do not have all the information when you begin the report, you can select the “Save for Later” option and return later to complete and submit your report.

Yes. If you choose to submit your report anonymously, it will be sent to your employer without any personal identifying information.

If something at work does not seem right, it is appropriate to report it. The reporting portal is designed to allow employees to raise concerns about workplace issues so they can be reviewed by their employer.

You do not need to determine whether the issue violates a policy before submitting a report. Your employer will review the information and determine the appropriate next steps.

If you experience technical issues accessing the reporting portal, you may submit a support ticket through the Support Hub within the portal.

You may be able to add information to your report while it is still in the initial review stage. Once the report moves into investigation status, edits can no longer be made within the portal.

If you have additional information, documentation, or files to share after an investigation has begun, please provide those materials directly to your employer so they can be included in their review.

If you choose to submit your report anonymously, your identity will not be included with the report.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can select Guest Login at the bottom of the portal login page to receive a one-time code. Because this login option does not request an email address, you will not receive updates or messages related to your report. You also have the option to create a login using your personal email address instead of your work email address to receive updates or messages related to your report.

It is generally best to report concerns as soon as possible after they occur so your employer has the most accurate information available.

However, you may submit a report at any time if you believe a workplace concern should be reviewed.

Once a report is submitted, it is stored within the platform and provided to your employer for review. The system maintains a secure record of submitted reports and activity within the portal.
