Sean brings to Work Shield more than 17 years of experience in executive leadership and sales. In former positions at companies including Lincoln Financial Group, Sun Life Financial, and Benefit Harbor, he took on pivotal roles to develop and deliver solutions for employer benefits needs, led company sales initiatives to support growth and retention, and implemented best practices to help save clients millions of dollars in employee benefit risk management.

Sean’s impressive track record of bringing market leading solutions to his clients combined with his leadership skills and overall expertise in the benefits industry help Sean play a vital role in developing Work Shield’s corporate and revenue management strategy, as well as overseeing the company’s sales initiatives.

Throughout his career, Sean has received national sales awards year after year, including National Sales Rep of the Year on multiple occasions.

Raised in Georgia by a school teacher mother and hard working father, Sean and his four siblings learned the value of diligence and sacrifice for others straight from the source. Sean enjoys watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves with his two children and dog, Finny, at least when they’re not all on the golf course. If he asks you to a game of chess, be warned - he will be tough to beat. He also enjoys a mean game of gin, which he plays while speaking with a British accent.

Close to Sean’s heart is the Zach Hoefler Memorial Trust, a non-profit organization established in memory of his friend’s son, Zach Hoefler. Its Biz Z Classic golf tournament fundraiser he helps organize raised over $100,000 for families in need last year.
