Travis O. FosterCLO
Travis heads up Work Shield’s legal department and is known to be something of a jack of all trades. He is an experienced entrepreneur, a business attorney, and a mechanical engineer who designed and managed projects in both the energy and public utilities industries.
Travis received his degree in mechanical engineering from Southern University and Agricultural & Mechanical College at Baton Rouge. Although he spent a combined nine years working as an engineer at Halliburton and a private engineering firm, he always had the law in his sights.
In 2002, he received his law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. He worked successfully at several high-profile law firms, including Patton Boggs, LLP and Baker Botts, LLP before deciding to venture out on his own. In 2009, Travis founded The Foster Firm, PLLC, where he assists his finance and corporate clients with the formation, governance, financial structuring, and M&A aspects of the transactional life cycle.
Travis brings to Work Shield an array of talents and a diverse background to manage all legal matters, as well as help execute on our strategic mission and goals. His wealth of capital knowledge and growth strategies for businesses are invaluable to Work Shield.
When he’s not pitching in to help someone at Work Shield, you’ll find Travis cycling along White Rock Lake and beyond, listening to great music with his beloved wife and daughter, scouring the land for a favorite 80’s alternative band t-shirt, or pairing homemade cuisine with craft cocktails.
